Dick and I will miss Lucye's friendship and kindness. She'll be remembered for her great contributions to the Raleigh music community and her abilities as a business woman who certainly inspired me. She was a great member of Fairmont Church and we'll always remember both Willard and Lucye as extraordinary friends. Our love goes out to the family.

All the years that I worked at Burrage, Mrs. "B" as we called her, was the driving force. Always quick with a smile for friends and strangers alike. Even after she retired, she would drop in to see if things were going well, but she was quick to add her two cents in if things could be done better. She would often go to lunch with her musical friends, as well as her other activities. During her many years with her husband, Willard, she was his subject for many a photograph. He always had to test out a new flash or new camera on his favorite girl.

I know that she will be missed by all. She was a good lady.
