Melissa Dawn Daniels

August 19, 1959 - June 15, 2025

Morehead City, North Carolina - Dawn Daniels, 65, passed away at Carolina East Hospital in New Bern on June 16th, 2025. She was born to John Daniels and Quida Sue Daniels in Culhert, GA, but spent most of her childhood in Greenville, NC. As an adult, Dawn raised her daughter outside of the Raleigh area, but was delighted to retire in Morehead City. Her favorite past times were fishing, playing guitar, going to see live music, and making loved ones laugh. Dawn is survived by her loving wife, Rhonda Prince, her daughter, Jordan Daniels, and her treasured small dog, Mazie.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Dawn. I got to know Dawn in singles Bible study at FVUMC. She was kind, loving and super funny. It was certainly a great shock to learn of her passing. May God provide you with love and comfort during this difficult time! Our prayers are with you Rhonda and Jordan and all those who loved her.
