Meredith Hildebrand Obituary
Holly Springs
Meredith Lee Hildebrand, 57, passed away January 8, 2016. Born on August 4, 1958 in Newark, NJ; she was the daughter of the late Robert Flohl and the late Beverly Radcliffe Flohl. She worked at Tipper Tie for 40 years in Office Administration.
Meredith loved her family, going to their place at Lake Gaston and soaking up the sun at the beach. She will be missed by her husband of 25 years: Jeff Hildebrand; son: Joshua Hildebrand, of Cary; daughter: Melissa Hildebrand, of the home; step-mother: Charlotte Meiner, of Basking Ridge, NJ; siblings: Robert Flohl, of Bangor, PA and Christine and Frank Bolinski, of Doylestown, PA; by her nieces, nephews and other family and friends, including her faithful companion, Laci.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Apex Funeral Home, with Graveside Services at 2 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Wake Chapel Christian Church Cemetery in Fuquay-Varina.

I am so sad that I was unable to come down. Your Mom and I became friends when we were 13, and she was in my wedding I always looked forward to your summer trips to the Jersey Shore!. Though most of our recent conversations were by FB or e-mail, she was always in my heart. My heart breaks for all of you. She was a special person and I will always remember her as my dearest friend. I'll love her and miss her forever.

I had the pleasure to work with Meredith for a couple of years. She was hard working, always prudently, but most important: She had a great sense of humor. I remember Meredith as a heartfelt and sincere character.

Jeff, Melissa and Josh. Please accept our deepest sympathies during this time. Meredith was a special person. I do not believe she ever met a stranger, She and I talked at the lake about both of us talking to anyone who would listen to us. She was usually walking the dog in the field when I went to walk mine. Melissa, my grandson, Landon said to tell you he is sorry for you loosing your mom. He was talking to me during the holidays about riding on the golf cart and when he sees and hides his face. Please feel free to call us if you need anything.
