Michael David Moore

August 9, 1951 - January 22, 2014

Raleigh

Michael David Moore, 62, died Wednesday. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Everett "Bud" and Virginia Stevens Watkins Moore. Michael was an avid Wolfpack Fan who loved music, animals and trivia. He always looked for the good in people.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends following the service at 108 Arch Bay Court, Holly Springs.

Survivors include his son, John Mann (Martha) of Glen Bernie, MD and Eric Moore (Jeannette) of Holly Springs; brothers, Lanny Watkins (Betty Jo) of Garner and Horace H. "Buddy" Watkins, Jr. (Myrna) of Old Town, ME; grandchildren, Courtney and Keely Moore and Takoda and Dakota Mann; nieces and nephews, Serene Watkins, Merijane Watkins Bureau (Bill), Vicki Watkins Heath, Chip Watkins (Rose), and Rex Watkins (Cheryl) and fifteen great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the SPCA or 2nd Chance Adoptions.
