Michael "Mike" Davis Privette

January 13, 1957 - May 4, 2017

Michael Davis "Mike" Privette, 60, of Wake Forest passed away Thursday evening, May 4, 2017 at Duke University Medical Center. Mike was a graduate of Wake Forest-Rolesville High School and was a cook. A celebration of Mike's life will be held at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening, May 9, 2017 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Casual dress is requested. Mike is survived by 6 cousins and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hallie Privette Morris; his father, Davis Privette; grandmother, Betty Fowler and grandfather, Percy Fowler. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Safe Haven for Cats, 8431 Garvey Dr. #137, Raleigh, NC 27616. A time of visitation will follow the service and at other times at the home of Judy and Gene Horton, 216 Wall Ave., Wake Forest, NC 27587. A service of Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
