Racheal Bridgers Ayers, 82, died Sunday, November 25, 2012.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Oak City Cemetery in Oak City. The Reverend Chris Shelton will be presiding.
The family received friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Oak City Baptist Church, 209 Second Street, Oak City.
Racheal was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Bridgers and Addie Phillips Bridgers; her husband, James Hope Ayers; and her brother, William L. Bridgers.
She is survived by her daughters, Bridget Lee Ayers and Dudley Webb of Macclesfield and Robin Dawn Ayers of Newport News, VA; son, Joe R. Ayers and wife Angela of Oak City; six grandchildren, Logan Hope Ayers, Josh Ayers, Trey James, Casey Blakley, Bryan Webb, and Brianna Webb; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Oak City Baptist Church, P.O. Box 39, Oak City, NC 27857.

Arrangements are being handled by Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
