Sarah Ann Rose Price, 79, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving and caring family. She was born October 5, 1939 in Nash County to the late J. C. Rose and Dora Andrews Rose. She retired as a secretary for the NC Department of Transportation in the right of way division. She was a devoted member of Knightdale Church of God.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
Surviving: son, Robert Wade Bemis (Sandi) of Wendell; brother, Thomas Rose (Charlene) of TN; grandchildren: Chris Jordan, Candise Stitt (Robbie), Matthew Bemis (Crystal); step-grandchildren: Christopher Brainerd, Sarah Brainerd; 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband David Thomas Price.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
