Vernon Britton Obituary

APRIL 10, 1934 - AUGUST 14, 2007
Vernon Elbert "Johnny" Britton, Jr., 73, of 4609 Cresta Drive, died, Tuesday.
A native of Halifax Co., he was the son of the late Vernon and Joanna Rook Britton.
The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
Surviving are daughters, Beth Britton Levi and husband, Dwight of Wilkesboro, Anna Britton Wilkins of Fuquay-Varina, Roberta Britton Padgett and husband, Ronnie of Raleigh; son, David Britton of Morehead City; brother, Alton Lee Britton of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Libby and Merrie Levi, Taylor Wilkins, Kent and Alex Padgett.
The visitation will be from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3117 Poplarwood Ct., Suite 114, Raleigh, NC 27604.
