Maryjane Howell age 70 of Danbury, CT died unexpectedly at home Monday December 28, 2015. She was the wife of Joseph E. Howell.
Maryjane was born September 27, 1945 in Mount Kisco, NY, a daughter of the late Murray Lee and Theresa Victoria (Tiberio) Penn SR. She was employed as a systems programmer for many years at Scholastics Publishing in Danbury. Maryjane was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brewster Volunteer Fire Department and Danbury Women's Moose Chapter #314. She was an avid bingo, setback and Texas hold'em player. Most of all Maryjane loved spending time with her with grandchildren and great grandson.
In addition to her husband of 24 years, Maryjane is survived by her daughter Victoria Combs of New Milford, CT, her brother Murray Lee Penn Jr of Sherman, CT, three grandchildren; Michael Lake, Cassandra Lake and Theresa Combs; a great grandson, Luke Xavier Huntley and two nieces.
Memorial service will be held at the Danbury Moose Lodge 75 Boulevard DR, Danbury, CT, on January 9, 2016 at 5 PM.
