Paul Dinto Obituary

Paul Dinto a lifetime resident of Danbury, died July, 7, 2011 at Hancock Hall in Danbury. He was 90 years old. Paul was born February 18,1921 in Danbury, the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Rinaldi) Dinto. He was a machinist for Lee-Foley Heli-Coil and served in the US Army during World War II. He was Past Commander of the Disabled Veterans of Danbury where he was recognized for his military service, and received a medal for 65 years of being a disabled veteran and he was a member of the American Legion Joseph Treadwel l Post 60 in Danbury and the Danbury Historical Society. He is survived by a son Paul Dinto and his wife Elaine of Danbury, one daughter Frances Houghtaling of Brookfield one sister Anna Eriquez ofDanbury and two sisters-in-law Frances Dinto of_Danbury and Ann Capellano, also survived by three grandchildren Richard Houghtaling and his wife Nancy, Beth Houghtaling Holly Eichen and her husband Bill, three great grandchildren John David, and Aaron Rubinow and Maxwell Dias and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Victoria, one brother Anthony Dinto, two sisters, Annette Dinto and Ginger Davis and one son -in law Harry Houghtaling Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St. Danbury on Wednesday (Today) from 5 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 10 a.m. at St Joseph Church, Interment will follow at St Peter Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his memory to Ann's Place The Home of I Can, 39 Old Ridgebury Rd Suite 17, Danbury CT 06811 or Danbury Hospital Development Fund 24 Hospital Ave., Danbury, CT 06810.

I worked with Paul at the water treatment plants in the late 70s. He always had a smile. He treated me very well. Sorry for your loss.
