We have known the Blayney family for over fifty years. Watching the children grow up with our children always held a special place in our hearts.
We loved Stephen as if he were our son. He was very vibrant and always smiling and happy to see us. We will miss him.
Our love and prayers go to Elaine, Michele and
Cyndi and the rest of the family.

Steven and my husband met just a couple years ago, and very quickly became friends. Though I wasn't so sure how to take his up-beat, fun self at first, he came to be someone both my husband and I could confide in, and reach out to in our lowest points. I'm so glad we got to have that last phone conversation where apologies were spoken, and accepted over past issues and he comforted me through the grief of losing my daughter this past year. He truly had such a big heart, and was genuinely a person you could talk to, cry with, and share your deepest feelings without judgment. It breaks my heart to hear of his passing, my husband and I had been trying to contact him for the last month fearing this, as we knew he had been sick. Though I'm glad he's no longer suffering, I also hate that the world lost such a good soul.

It's still hard to believe that someone so vibrant and full of life has passed away. I still remember the day my wife and I first met with Steve. He and little Walter brought us brownies to welcome us to the Clifton neighborhood. Since then he always took care of us, and left us so many wonderful memories.
My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Steve. His kindness and willingness to help will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Steve.

Condolences and prayers from your old neighbors. When we moved across the street, sweet Elaine brought welcoming cookies. That was our introduction to a beautiful family. Stephen was engaging & talented. We remember him fondly & pray peace for all of you. Sincerely, Ronnie, Andee, Ilana & Alexi

Steve and I became friends when he gave me an opportunity to work at Kinetic PT as an aide/personal trainer. It was immediately clear, what a magnetic person and talented practitioner Steve was. With open arms, he welcomed my best friends into his fold bc Steve loved and genuinely cared for others. And boy, did he love to have fun. From DMB concerts to the legendary Octoberfests, to sharing mixed cds of our party lists, my memories of Steve abound. I am extremely sad to learn of his passing. I will treasure my memories of the short time he was present in my life. RIP my friend.
Love, Dawn and Kevin

One of my favorite memories of Steve, other than at our engagement and wedding, is when he and Deb had us over for Oktoberfest. He was dressed in Lederhosen and grilling some mean bratwurst while our kids played together in the yard. Steve was so fun, welcoming, and full of smiles. I´m so grateful to have those memories of him forever.
