Susan Donnelly Obituary

Donnelly, Susan M.
Susan M. Donnelly a long time resident of Danbury, passed away suddenly after a short illness at her home on December 8, 2016. She was 65 years old.
Sue was born December 23, 1950 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Pamela and the late Clifford Law. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Holidays were very special to her and she enjoyed getting the family together to celebrate each and every one of them at "Nana's House".
She spent winters in The Villages Florida and led a very active social life there. She will be sorely missed by all her "snowbird" friends.Sue was a kind and caring woman who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Brian Donnelly, two children Michael Donnelly and his significant other Jenna Rahimov, Jennifer Brissitte and her husband Dwayne, her mother Pamela Law, one brother Ken Law and his wife Jeanette. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Ryan and Sari Donnelly, Dayne, Chloe, and Sophia Brissitte, and Jordan Daniels, one niece April Geoffrey, and two nephews Eric and Andrew Law.

Dear Brian and Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Susan was a wonderful person and cousin. I'll really miss her. She was the one that kept our families connected. I loved seeing her when you would come to Hawaii. Even her strange perk of sleeping with the TV on is something I fondly remember all the time. Even though I can't be with you at this time know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
With all our love Leigh & Ken

Brian, please know that our hearts are with you and the family as you cope with this very sad loss. We returned from a trip earlier today and were shocked to hear of Sue's passing. Like everyone, we knew Sue to be a warm and caring person, so very devoted to family and friends. Sue will be missed every day and especially at get-togethers like the summer family reunion and holiday celebrations. While her absence will be especially difficult this Christmas, people like Sue tend to leave much of themselves behind and her inspiring influence will last for generations.
Pam, Brian, Ken, Jennifer, Michael, and other family members, we send our sincere condolences and support as you reflect on your lives together and the timelessness of Sue's loyal and generous spirit.

Aunty Pam, Brian, Michael, Jen and Kenny:
I just can't find the right words to say as there are none. Just know that your daughter, wife, mother and sister lit up a room when she walked in. She made everyone she spoke to feel special and we all knew how important family was to her and she never let us forget that. My Dad and my family are so thankful for the great memories over the years. We will cherish those moments as I know you all will.
