Harold grew up in Oglesby, Illinois, and attended Washington School and St. Bede Academy graduating in 1958. He received an AA degree from Elkhart University, BS from Ferris State University, and an MS from Central Michigan University. He was a professor of Dental Technology in the College of Allied Health Sciences at Ferris State University until his retirement.
He married Kathrine Ann Franklin in Algonac, MI on November 4, 1961.
Harold grew up in Illinois and moved to Michigan and taught Dental Technolgy at Ferris. He moved to Iowa to teach Dental Technology at the University of Iowa and then returned to Ferris to teach. Prior to retiring, he spent 1.5 years teaching Dental Technology in Portugal. After retiring he moved to Tucson, Arizona.
Harold enjoyed golfing, hiking, kayaking and camping with his family and friends. he also loved playing his guitar and in retirment was a member of the Tres Amigo's Band in Tucson. He sang in the choir at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Tucson. He was a friend to everyone and knew no strangers.
Survivors include his Wife, Kathrine, Children; Sandra Lee Gregorich (Charles O. Trevor), Carol Lee Gregorich (David Lancour), Steven H. Gregorich, his sister Nancy Gregorich Jebsen, Grandchildren; Kestrel Gregorichm Trevor (Amanda) and Casey Gregorich Trevor.
Preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Marie (Alteri) Gregorich and Joseph Gregorich, and Brother-in-Law Eugene V. Jebsen.
Burial will be at St. Vincents Cemetery in LaSalle, IL in the Gregorich family plot. The funeral will be on October 5 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Church in Oglesby, IL. Reverand Father Paul Carlson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Bede Academy, Peru, IL.
