July 24, 1964 - October 12, 2021
Preston Anthony Taylor, 57, of Waynesboro, Virginia, departed life on October 12, 2021, at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.
He was born on July 24, 1964, to George and Martha Taylor. He was a hardworking man and a dedicated mechanic. He was a good father and a loving grandfather. Preston was a dependable man and his laugh was contagious. He enjoyed fishing and going to the track with his boys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Martha Taylor; two brothers, Lynwood Crawford and Adolphus Crawford, Jr.; and three sisters, Margaret Taylor White, the Rev. Mildred Ann Crawford White, and Daisy "Genny" Fisher.
He leaves behind his children, Jaqueline Clark, Joyceline Clark, Twyla Taylor, Margaret White, Jordan Taylor, Terreal Taylor and his fiancée, Tavonna Houlstalk, Monique Kiesler-McCabe and her wife, Bethany Kiesler-McCabe, and Neveah Taylor; his life partner, April Kiesler and two stepchildren, Jasmine Kiesler and A'Mayah Minor, a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren; as well as his godson, Caleb Hutchinson.
A special thanks from the children to April Kiesler (Preston's fiancé) for being such a loving, supportive and dedicated woman to their father. They couldn't ask for a better partner to their dad.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday October 19, 2021, at Mount Eagle Baptist Church in Nellysford, Virginia, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Glenwood Morgan officiating.

Preston will be missed and he was a very nice person that I had the peasure of knowing through his niece Samantha White and her children. Between Preston and his family, they were all like family to me and for me during some hard times of my like and I will forever miss and hold a place in my heart for Mr. Taylor. R. I. P. We are so sorry for the loss of our friend Preston. He will be missed by us so much. He always would stop by to see Tracy and in would call home from work and Tracy would joke with him and say Teresa said get out her house lol. R.I.P. our friend until we meet again.
