Allan Svirsky Obituary

SVIRSKY, ALLAN Allan Svirsky, 68, of Milford and Naples, FL, beloved husband of Jean Svirsky, died on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Allan was born on July 14, 1942 in New Haven, CT, son of the late Boris and Edythe (Orchowsky) Svirsky. He was a longtime salesman in the food service industry throughout Connecticut. He was an avid boater, little league coach, and fan of the University of Miami football. Allan was also a director of the Paugusset Club of Orange. He will be sadly missed by his wife Jean of Milford, and his son, Scott Svirsky and his wife Lauren of Boca Raton, FL. His grandchildren, Dylan age 9, Hannah age 7, and Lily age 2, in addition to two nephews Bruce Alpert and Jay Alpert both of Madison. A Memorial Service will be held at Beth Israel Synagogue, 22 North Orchard Street, Wallingford on Friday, November 5th at 11 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714 or at www.lustgarten.org. The B.C.
