Amelia Iannucci Obituary

Amelia Iannucci
Feb 15,2026
Amelia "Millie" Iannucci (née Prodoti)
1940 – 2026
NORTH HAVEN - Amelia "Millie" Iannucci, 85, a longtime resident of North Haven, entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2026, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert Carmen Iannucci, who predeceased her in 1982.
Born in the Fair Haven section of New Haven, Millie was the daughter of the late Michael and Stella (Addario) Prodoti.
Millie was the last surviving member of the Prodoti siblings. She was predeceased by her brothers James, Angelo (Andy), George (Duke), Dominic, Guido, and Michael Prodoti and her sisters Stella Barbato and Alice Pocograno. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. At her side during her final moments was her loyal orange tabby, Oliver, who remained a constant companion through her illness.
Millie is survived by her loving children: her son Robert and his wife Denise and her daughter Cheryl and fiancé John Shea. She was the cherished grandmother of Kaitlyn, Christopher, Aidan, and Matthew Coyle and Robert, and Nicholas Iannucci.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Moore's Radiology Group, and Dr. Curtis Perry's group at Smilow Urology Oncology. A special thank you to the team at Compassus Hospice for their warm and loving care.
SERVICES: Graveside services will be held on March 21 at All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow immediately in New Haven. Specific details and times will be provided at the service.
