Anthony Vigliotti Obituary
Anthony "Tony" Joseph Vigliotti of East Haven, CT, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at CT Hospice, Branford. Tony was born on August 22, 1942, in New Haven, CT, to Rose (Cavallaro) Vigliotti and Louis Vigliotti of Lenox Street. He attended Notre Dame of West Haven High School and later earned his Associate's Degree from Quinnipiac College. Afterward, he served in the Army, serving as a Medic and later in the National Guard. He completed his Bachelor's Degree at SUNY Empire State.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years Rose (Cangiano) Vigliotti, his 2 daughters: Lisa (Tim) Harkness and Christine (Anthony) Maisano, and 7 grandchildren: Julianna, Anthony and Ava Rose Maisano and Tyler, Katherine, Matthew and Caroline Harkness. He was predeceased by his parents and his grandson, David Harkness. He is also survived by his brother, Vincent Vigliotti, and a large extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Tony will be laid to rest with Military Honors at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven after a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Saturday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church (St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish), 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven.

Anthony was one of the finest people I have ever known. He gave himself unselfishly to anyone in need and was a fixture at Notre Dame High School. I am very sad and pray the family will be comforted during this most difficult time. God bless you.
