Basil "Peter" Hwoschinsky, Jr.
1930 ~ 2021
Basil Hwoschinsky, Jr. died peacefully June 20, 2021 under Hospice care in Orange, CT. Basil, known to all as Peter, was born August 26, 1930 and raised in Greenwich, CT. He was a graduate of Washburn University in Topeka, KA and was predeceased by his parents Basil and Frances (Robertson) Hwoschinsky, his wife Hedy Mitchell, and his brother Paul and recently his brother Stanley Rose. He is survived by his sister-in-law Katherine Rose, nephews Stanly Rose, Jr., Peter D. Hwoschinksy, and niece Suzanne H. Barnes and stepchildren Christopher (Tina) and Clifford Lindsay. Peter will be remembered by all who met him for his kindness, perseverance and for seeing the goodness in everyone. As noted by his sister-in-law Carol, Peter embodied love and expressed it through his work as a Certified Nursing Assistant. His funeral was private. The family requested that a tree be planted in his memory.
