Paul Santrizos

Yesterday, I found this news out about Chuck after a Google search for my dad - Mario Santrizos -a friend and marketing colleague of Chuck's. I am very sorry to hear about Chuck's passing, and remember both Chuck and Camille very well from my boyhood in Wellesley. Please know that you are in my deepest prayers for healing - and this comes from a guy who knows the journey - having lost his dad young, and later lost his first wife to cancer.

One memory stands out, Camille - you and Chuck had my family (Mario, Teddi, Nick and myself - Paul) over to meet your little firstborn. And you played Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" on your great stereo system. I am very sorry I didn't get meet up with you all again past that time in my life. Again, many prayers for healing and comfort.

Many blessings,
Paul (and Rebecca) Santrizos

To Camille and all those Chuck loved so much: i was sad to read news of his passing, though we have not stayed in touch well for some years. But Chuck was such an important influence early in my career that i realize too late how much i wish i had told him so. But for him, i think my navigation of `corporate life´ would have been devoid of some great lessons and wonderful memories! His friendship with my business partner Mario Santrizos was the stuff of legendary adventures in computer industry marketing! May his memory be a blessing.

I would like to add a few notes about Chuck's connection to New Haven.

After generations of our (rather large) Gargiulo family growing apart, Chuck and I discovered each other about 10 years ago through a DNA match. Through this match, the families became re-united. We spoke regularly over the past 10 years sharing family stories and recording our family genealogy.

My Grandfather, Francesco Gargiulo and Chuck's Grandmother, Josephine Gargiulo were brother and sister, making us second cousins. Interestingly, Maria came over "on the boat" with my Grandfather in 1901 when she was only 16 years old. They immigrated to New Haven and started families.

Check was born in New Haven in 1943. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in West Haven and then went to Boston University.

I was born in New Haven in 1957 and also graduated from Notre Dame and Boston University.

Prayers and deep condolences go out to the entire family and all those that knew Chuck. Rest In Peace dear cousin.

Camille, May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. The attached photo includes Charles on the far right which he sent to me just several years ago. Since then we have remained in communication. I feel blessed that I finally met you and spent some time with both last summer. He was a great guy. Our prayers are with you and your family.
