1922 - 2017

Joseph Juliano, age 94, of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on Sunday March 19, 2017 in Masonicare of Wallingford. Born on April 22, 1922 in Hamden, the son of the late James and Mary (Daddio) Juliano. Cherished father of Joyce (Tony Klimas Jr.) Morrissey of West Haven, Barbara Giordano of Branford, Donna (Bob Grossberg) Milano of West Haven, and Patricia Dostie of East Haven. Leaves behind companion Diane D'Amore of 50 years and her daughter Denise D'Amore of Hamden. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, many nieces and nephews. Joseph served in the Army during WWII. He started his own business New England Barrel Company of North Haven, and loved working in the business together with his son Peter for over 40 years. Joseph also loved his vegetable garden which was a size of a farm in East Haven. He was a very hard worker his whole life. He was predeceased by one son Peter Juliano, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers. His funeral procession will leave Hamden Memorial, 1300 Dixwell Ave., on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 9:45am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Ann's Church, 930 Dixwell Ave. Hamden at 10 O'clock. Interment will follow with military honors in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
