Serletti, Joseph
Joseph Serletti, 88, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2017 at CT Hospice, Branford. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Regina Bialobrzewski Serletti. Joseph was born in Hamden on January 10, 1929, son of the late Salvatore and Laura Lonetti Serletti; served his country faithfully in the US Army and had worked as a firefighter for the New Haven Fire Department for many years until his retirement in 1989. Father of Karen Bauer and her husband Gregory. Predeceased by his brothers Carmen, Anthony, Albert and Michael Serletti, and a sister Lucretia Lennon.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven on Wed. at 11:15 a.m. and to follow the procession to the graveside for an 11:30 service with full military honors. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with arrangements. www.northhavenfuneral.com
