"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." - John 14:1-3

I have so many memories of talking with Kim at DCF about her trip to St. Martin especially during the time of a hurricane when she and her husband made a few friends while having to take shelter and ride out the storm. Many of us would not take pleasure in having to take shelter from a hurricane - but Kim did because of the great friends she made as a result. She

Kimmy you were such a kind, gentle, and generous person. How lucky I was to have a co-worker who was so loyal, smart, dedicated and FUNNY! I was so very sorry to hear about Kim today. I worked with her for many years at the Department of Children and Families. She was the consummate professional but she also had the ability to "lighten up" and have fun at work. Who was better...the Beatles (my generation!) or Steven Tyler? Many fun discussions on that question! She was extremely helpful to me when I was working on some contract for a new program for kids. Kim was a lovely person and will be missed by many of us who worked with her.

~Everyone who knew Kim can attest to the wonderful child-like quality she had within her spirit. She played many jokes and pranks on co-workers but it was always intended to make you smile, and of course laugh too! Speaking of smiles she had a smile that lit up an entire room when she entered. I along with many others will miss that fabulous ray of sunshine that she was! My prayers go out to Kim's family. This angel has her white golden wings and is already flying to meet up with those who have passed on before her. Peace be with you my dearest Kimba ~

Kim and Vinny mean so much to our family and we are all heartbroken over this loss. Vinny, our deepest condolences brother to you and your families. Kimmy, I know Sammy and Sid are with you in heaven along with your predeceased loved ones. Our dog Sid chased the ball all day with Sammy when we visited along with my sister and brother in law. St Martin would not have been as much fun if we hadn't met Kim and Vinny 1 day before the '95 hurricane Louis smashed the island. Vinny and family we are thinking of all of you. Love Always!
