Marilyn Farrow Obituary
Marilyn Farrow of Hamden, CT passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023. She was born in Beckley, WV on March 19, 1945, to the late Richard Law, Jr. and Amy W. Law. She taught in Dale City, VA and Washington, D.C. before moving to New Haven, where she taught for 27 years. She received a degree in Elementary Education from Bluefield State College, Bluefield, WV. She received her Master's Degree from Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven, CT. She was a PIMMS Fellow at Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT.
Marilyn leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, William Farrow; daughter, Natalie Farrow; granddaughters, Victoria Farrow of Plainville, CT and Stephanie LeClaire Farrow of Hamden, CT; sisters, Carol (Joseph) Jones of Fort Washington, MD, Sheila Hall of Beckley, WV, and Paulette (Marvin) Carter of Gainesville, FL; brothers, Douglas (Mandy) Law and Keith (Lisa) Law of Beckley, WV; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Ramona Scott and Myra Moore; and brother, Richard W. Law.
A celebration of her life will take place Friday, June 16, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St., New Haven. Friends may call Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
