Neal Munson Obituary
Neal Eric Munson, 66, of Meriden, formerly of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his son by his side. Born in New Haven on December 27, 1954, son of the late Eric V. and Grace Connal Munson. He served his country faithfully in the US Air Force and had worked for the US Postal Service for many years until his retirement. Father of Kelly Munson, Richard Munson (Erica) and Melissa Munson. Brother of Maureen Stone (Robert), Lynette Munson and Pamela Grabek (Paul).
Family in friends are invited to meet directly at the office of the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown on Monday morning, Dec. 6th at 11:45 and follow the funeral procession to the graveside for a military honors service at 12 noon. The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements. www.northhavenfuneral.com

My sincere condolences to Neals children and extended family.I worked with Neal at the cheshire P.O.
I knew under his rough and tough exterior was a big beautiful heart.i knew he loved his children and his corgi george very much.I remember how much Neal loved to dance.I hope you are dancing in the sky my friend.I will miss you.I´m sure Melissa welcomed you home with open arms.You were a wonderful father and friend.

To The Munson Family; I am saddened to hear of Neal's passing. I'll always remember him as the boy with the curly hair and big smile. I am grateful that I actually had the opportunity to visit and catch up with him at The Pohlman summer reunions a few times. May be rest in peace!
