When I heard of Winston's death, I was shocked and totally saddened. I was recently thinking of him and realizing I hadn't spoke to him in over ten years. We use to talk of God, sports, politics and always enjoyed each others company. I send my heartfelt condolences to his wife and family. May God Bless You in this time of sorrow.

The memory of Winston, almost single-handedly beating Harding on the football field, Thanksgiving Day, 1965, is one I cherish. He was a great athlete, but a much greater gentleman - humble and stoic. My sincere condolences to his family on your loss of this fine man.

You will be sorely missed Mr.Davis. I'm glad we had a chance to fellowship at Living Word very recently. I remember how happy you were that I joined. It's hard to believe, but I know you wouldn't want us to grieve:
