Manning

Robert A."Bob" Manning, 90, of Fort Thomas, passed away on Wednesday, August 31th at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center - Ft. Thomas, KY. He was the president and founder of Arc Electric, A/C & Htg. Inc., which he started in his home in 1953. He was also a member of the Sierra Club of NKY, involved in the Servers Award, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Additionally, he was the founder of the NKY Electrical Authority, member of the NKY and Gr. CIncy Heating and Cooling Associations, Gr. Cincy Electrical Asso., NKY Home Builders Asso. and St. Therese Church. Bob was also a World War II Navy Veteran.He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Virginia Manning; his 2nd wife, Goldie Michels Manning; his two brothers: John and William; and his son, Lawrence. Bob is survived by his 4 daughters: Patricia Kattenhorn of Bellevue, KY, Kathleen Horn of Fort Thomas, KY, Jean Strasser of Cincinnati, OH and Joan Federle of Ft. Thomas, KY; 7 sons: Michael Manning of Southgate, KY, James Manning of Fort Thomas, KY, Thomas Manning of Highland Heights, KY, Joseph Manning of Fort Thomas, KY, Anthony Manning of Fort Thomas, KY, Paul Manning of Newport, KY, Louis Manning of Taylor Mill, KY; 38 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation: 4-7 p.m., Monday, September 5th at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 6th, at the St. Therese Church, Southgate. Entombment will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas. Memorials are suggested to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509 New York, NY 10018 or Alzheimers's Association 644 Linn St. Suite 1026 Cincinnati, OH 45203.
