Aaron Edward May

1969 - 2021

Aaron Edward May died peacefully at home on October 19, 2021 at the age of 52. He was born in Metairie Louisiana on September 23, 1969 to Edward Porter May and Carol Sachitano May. He was a 1987 graduate of Brother Martin high school. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Porter May, his grandparents Marion and Inez May and Anthony and Rita Sachitano. He is survived by his mother Carol Sachitano May, his daughters Caroline and Layla May, his sisters Erika (Jason) Broussard and Wendy (Victor) LaRocca III, nieces Alexis And Ashlyn Broussard and Sophia LaRocca and nephew Victor LaRocca IV. Aaron was known for his artistic talent and beautiful artwork, and his love of music especially Dave Matthews. He was an accomplished tattoo artist, tattooing for over 20 years. Although Aaron had his struggles in life he was a devoted father who loved his girls and always tried to do best by them. We hope that everyone can remember Aaron for his infectious smile and his witty personality. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in St. Louis number three Cemetery.
