Alejandro Miguel Blanco, affectionately known as "Alex" or "Paco", entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the tender age of 20. Born on July 23, 2002, in LaPlace, Louisiana, he was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of many. Alex graduated from Riverdale Senior High School in Metairie, Louisiana in 2020. His passion for life, kindness, and laughter endeared him to everyone he met. Alex had a special gift for making people laugh and was always quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He cherished his time with family and friends, and his radiant presence illuminated every gathering. Alex's warm smile and compassionate heart left a lasting impact on all who knew him. His memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of his loved ones. Alex leaves behind his parents, Roberto Carlos Blanco and Hope Broussard Blanco; sister, Gabriella Lynn Blanco. Godparents, Charles Ralph Broussard, Jr. and Maria L. Velasquez Rocha, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Constantino Blanco and Margarita Velasquez Blanco of Masaya, Nicaragua; his maternal grandparents, Michael Broussard and Saundra Lynn Tuckson Broussard of New Orleans, Louisiana; his maternal great grandmother, Catherine Martin Broussard of New Roads, Louisiana and paternal great-grandfather, Clem Tuckson, Jr. of St. Rose, Louisiana. He is predeceased by his maternal great grandparents, Charles Ralph Broussard of Baldwin, Louisiana; and Ella Mae Anderson and Angeline and Clem Tuckson of Jefferson, Louisiana. Relatives, friends and associates and members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Kenner, Louisiana and employees of River Parish Disposal in Metairie, Louisiana and Port of Louisiana, New Orleans Terminal are invited to attend his funeral services at Baloney Funeral Home, LLC, 1905 West Airline Highway, LaPlace, Louisiana 70068, (985) 224-8460. Visitation and viewing will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services immediately following will be officiated by Pastor Steve Perrilloux. Attendees are invited to join the family at the repass at La Belle Place Reception & Conference Center, located at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
