Bobby Addison, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 13, 2021, in Dallas, TX at the age of 44. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Dallas, TX. Bobby was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, where he was a dedicated football player. He was employed as a Certified Forklift Driver for numerous years. Beloved husband of Tanisha Chatman. Devoted father of Bobby Addison, Jr. Loving son of Leo (Crystal) Addison Sr. and Beulah Addison. Grandson of the late James and Octavia Addison, George Herbert, Carrie Cole, and Ruth Mae Hill Scott. Brother of Leo Addison, Jr., Larry Addison, Bryant (Eboni) Addison, Monica Addison, Jade LeBeauf, and the late Leon Addison. Uncle of Marsell, Leroy, De'Shon, Tristan, Mason, Madicyn, Apryl, Harmony, and the late Gerard Iran Cage. Great-uncle of Le'Gaci and Legend. Nephew of Shirley Wilson, Luvenia Addison, Everhelina Addison (Willie) Dickerson, Willette (Harold) McDonald, James Wilson, Sr., Frederick (Barbara) Addison, Leonard Addison, Herbert (Gaby) Cole, James Addison, Jr., and the late Delores Gray, Dorothy Harper, Harris and Charles Wilson. Bobby is also survived by his godparents Ross and Doris Blanche, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Darold A. Ingram, Jr. of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
