Denise, Chet, Raquel, Kris, Bruce & all the Grand-children,
I am very sorry to hear about the loss of a wonderful husband, brother, and father, and grandfather. He was a great person and I learned a lot from him in the short amount of time knowing him. I can't imagine how this is affecting your entire family especially you all. I know how close your inner cycle is and I am sure right now is a time of togetherness. Mr. Parent will surely be missed by all, but not forgotten.
You all have my deepest condolences.

To all of you he may have been known as Bruce Parent, but to those of us at Bellsouth he was "Paco". Even he didn't have much of an explanation for where the nickname came from, he was just Paco. From the first day I met him to the last time we spoke there was never an unkind word. Every challenge and any disaster great or small was met head on and if he was involved you new he would carry it to completion. The world was a much better place for having him in it. We have lost a great one, one of the best. Thanks for sharing him with us.
He will always be there in your hearts and at your sides.

Bruce you were one of my best friends. We knew each other since we were kids. Although we didn't see each other much after high school we still remained friends. I will see you again in heaven. Rest in peace buddy.

Mr. Parent, I never had the privilege of meeting you personally but I have met you through your daughter Raquel. Her caring heart, her values, her independence, her grace and strength in the face of adversity among other positive traits show that she was raised right. As an educator, I can say “That's often hard to say now days.” You have left too soon but be in peace at the thought of the positives your time here on Earth has brought—3 children, many grandkids, a long marriage, and many friendships.
