Catherine Mims Hoffield passed away on Saturday February 8, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Charles "Chuck" Hoffield. Devoted Mama of Carolyn Tanner, Collette Newman, Christy Newman, Kevin Hoffield, Keith Hoffield and Kathy Patrick. Mother-in-law of Jill Hoffield, Kristen Hoffield and Michael Patrick. Loving daughter of Millard Mims and the late Annie Mae Mims. Sister of Donna Boudreaux and the late Melvin Mims. Sister-in-law of Nolan Boudreaux and Beth Mims. Proud Maw-Maw of 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Hoffield was a retired Administrative Assistant with Office Depot after 17 years of service, former member of American Legion Post# 175 and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew her. Aged 66 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Wednesday February 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
