It sounds like your dad was very well loved and respected by a lot of people. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Laughter is the best medicine for any situation, so always remember the laughs you shared with your father.

To The Lampert Family:
As my mentor, I owe everything to Ed. When he gave me a career, he gave me focus and purpose. Men such as Ed come along once in a lifetime, and to have known him and be some part of his life was an honor and privledge. Godspeed, Ed Lampert. You shall be missed!!

Ken,Cathy,and Matt,
Ed's death is a lose to everyone.
We shared an office when he would come to CORT in Winter Park to work collections. I learned alot listening to him. He took the time to teach me and share his knowledge on how to communicate with people about uncomfortable things.
He got the job done by bringing out the best in people. Even the hard core deadbeats wouldn't renig on a deal with Mr. Lampert.
He leaves behind his wisdom and kindness in his family.
