Edward Stewart. III entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at the age of 53. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Edward was the owner of Red, White, and Blue Trucking Service. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice Preston Stewart. Devoted father of Shantrice Stewart, Kourtney Williams, Edward, IV, and Brandyn Stewart. Loving son Edward Stewart, Jr., and Marilyn Henley. Stepson of Jimmy Henley. Grandson of Shirley Holmes and the late Willie Holmes, Edward, Sr., and Delores Stewart. Great grandson of the late Clarence and Nancy Walker, also survived by 10 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and Friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Westlawn Cemetery-Gretna, LA.
