My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Although I never met Ella, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt how very much he loved her. I know too how very much he loved and cherished you, Leigh. Johnny was a very charismatic person who had a positive effect on the lives that he touched, mine included. I enjoyed knowing and working for you and Johnny and he will be missed.

Johnny was a great boss, I remember when He used to want a Moccino, johnny style: no turbinado and some other alteration. I always enjoyed coming to work, because Johnny and Leigh made it such a great and fun environment. They were both so good to me, and I can't believe he is gone. He was such a fun and happy person all the time, and he gave great advice. I will always hold that advice dear to my heart. I missed them when they left the store. My heart goes out to you Leigh and baby Ella. I pray and think of you both constantly.

It is always very difficult to accept the loss of a loved one, especially when God calls His children home way to early. Johnny, knowing how much you loved your family, friends and most importantly, life itself, your loss is especially hard to accept my friend. I cannot begin to imagine what you all are feeling from the shock of losing such a beloved family member so suddenly. It was a privilege to have known Johnny, he was such a fun-loving and caring person. This past year at Mardi Gras, after he met Emmylou for the first time, he made a point of telling me, most sincerely, how beautiful she is, and he gave me a look-- a look that clearly said "Yes, I see that she is your entire world as Ella is mine." No words were needed for me to understand how he felt. I know he passed away feeling extremely blessed to have such a wonderful daughter, wife and family, and I know that as we miss him, we will all hug our own loved ones a little tighter reminded that life is precious and in many cases, far too short. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We fully understand your pain, as we lost our son, Philip on November 11th due to a massive heart attack.
