Frank Tuttle Obituary

TUTTLE Frank Tuttle, a retired account executive with Motorola Inc., died Thursday, November 19th, at the age of 88. Mr. Tuttle was born in Akron Ohio October 29, 1921 and lived in the New Orleans area since 1971. Mr. Tuttle served in the Marine Corps in WW II, seeing action in the South Pacific and the Philippines where he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and 6 Air Medals. He also served in the Korean Conflict. Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey M. Tuttle of Somerton, Arizona, and F. Christopher Tuttle of Port Charlotte Florida, a sister Mary Coddington of Akron, Ohio, two grandchildren, and long time companion Marion Ecuyer. Mr. Tuttle was a member of the National WW II Museum and also served on its Speakers Bureau. A Memorial Service was held in his honor at the WW II Museum on November 24th, 2009. Internment of the cremains will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
