SABOLYK Gwendolyn Englerth Sabolyk on Thursday, December 15, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Robert Sabolyk. Loving mother of Robert Sabolyk, Michael Sabolyk and Patrick Sabolyk. Mother-in-law of Pamela, Janette and Jeanne Sabolyk. Daughter of the late Grover W. and Laura Guenther Englerth. Sister of James T. Englerth, Ione E. Morissette and the late Thomas, John and Bette Englerth. Grandmother of Erin S. Ryder, Aimee, Laura and Emily Sabolyk, also Stephen Rouprich, Sherry Landry, Jonas and Garth Fruge' and Desi Mataya. Great grandmother of Colton Ryder, also Hayden Rouprich and Jacob Kindscher. Ms. Sabolyk served with the American Red Cross during WWII, was an Army wife for over 27 years and was a school teacher for over 20 years at Christ the King School. She was also a member of AARP. She was instrumental in guiding the thoughts of the young thru life's challenges. Age 90 years. A native of North Mankato, Minn. and a resident of Terrytown, La. for the past 40 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La. on Monday, December 19, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at a later date. Parlors will be open on Monday morning from 9:00 AM until service time.
