COOPER Harold Claude Cooper, age 87, died on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 2:16 AM. Devoted husband of Gloria Olivier Cooper for 65 years. Beloved father of Susan Cooper, Denise Cooper, Marcella C. Gioe, (Ricky) and Giselle C. Diecidue, (Steven). Son of the late Amedee W. Cooper and Estelle Daussin Cooper. Brother of Donald Cooper and Florence Welborn, and the late Muriel Guchereau, Marion Cooper, Alethea Claiborne. Loving grandfather of Theresa Dysart, (Danny); Steven and Hayden Diecidue and Olivia and Cooper Gioe. Mr. Cooper was a longtime resident of Chalmette, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 from 9:00 Am until 12:00 noon followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA.
