Jacques, I remember when we found each other on Facebook before we graduated high school. It was funny we both had the same last name. Then a year later, we find ourselves at the same family reunion. I didn't get to know you as well as i could have because of the distance factor, but that's really all it was. I know we would have been very close. We were planning that trip for Fat Tuesday but said we would wait 'til next year. But i guess we missed our chance. I'll never forget you man.

The Hup Damare family is just hearing about Jacques' sudden and tragic death and we are deeply saddened for the loss to us all. I only met Jacques once, at the family reunion, and his presence was very special. Our thoughts and prayers are with Donald, Donna, Angelle and the entire family.

It is hard to believe this precious person is gone from this earth. I know he is in a better place, but he will be missed by so many! I am astonished at the amount of people that were at the funeral. Amazing...almost 2 hours of people streaming in a line from the street to the front of the church. Jacques...you had some friends, and it was because of who you were!
Jacques was great at this, as it was his natural instinct. No pretending here. at family gatherings, he would walk up to me and look me strainght in the eye with those spakkling eyes, and give that big smile. He wanted to know about what was going on and truly showed love and care to me and everyone. I thank God for Donna and Don, for raising him up to be such a fine person. God, Bless this family. The tribute paid Jacques this afternoon was truly amazing! What a wonderful testament to who he was. This young man was obviously loved and will be missed by many. May God bless you as we keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

To the Damare' family. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to each of you.
My son Chad graduated with Jacques from Archbishop Hannan High and went to southeastern with him.
He was a good looking , talented young man. I remember the twinkle in his eyes each time i saw him smile. God must have needed a talented pure hearted angel to help him In heaven to have taken him away from you so soon. May God bless you and give you strength in the days ahead of you. I cannot attend his services today but will attend mass Wednesday at Hannan. May God bless you and may you feel his loving arms around you in your time of need.

So sorry for you loss. Jacques was one of the best young men i have ever met. I worked with him at Winn Dixie and he was good friends with both my children. I feel so blessed to have had him in my life. He will be missed so much. My prayers are with yall.

I can't beliehe is not with us anymore. His smile..the twinkle in his eyes, his fabulous and kind personality. I always adored him and he will be in my heart forever.

Jacques, I haven't seen you since we were little and I am sorry we weren't able to keep in touch as we grew up. Words are not adequate to express the feeling of sorrow and disbelief I felt upon hearing of the passing of your beloved son Jacques on Monday evening. Not having a biological child of my own, I can only imaginable the kind of pain a parent must feel at the loss of such a wonderful, promising, loving young man.
