Joseph Larry Magyar

Joseph Larry Magyar, 69, of Mandeville La, passed away Dec. 31, 2013. He was born to the late Joseph L. Magyar and the late Awana Roberts on Dec. 7, 1944, in Little Rock Arkansas. Joseph is survived by: his one son, Mitchell (wife Nina) Magyar, of Slidell La; mother of his son, Hatsue Sayumi Magyar. He is also survived by four grandsons: Kaleab Magyar, Breyden Magyar, Kai Magyar, and Brennen Magyar. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked in the Oil Field Industry most of his life. He also enjoyed the outdoors: boiling crawfish, barbecuing, and gardening. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. Repass immediately following the funeral at the Wingate Hotel, 1752 Gause Blvd East.
