Joseph Earl Pete, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the age of 57. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Joseph was a graduate of G.W. Carver Senior High School, and he attended Southern University. Joseph was employed as a longshoreman with Cooper Consolidated Grain & Barge, and he was also a Licensed Electrician. Beloved husband of Terry Pete. Loving father of Joseph Earl Walker, Jasmine Latrelle Lawrence, Joseph Earl Pete, III, August Spencer Pete, Ashley Coleman, and Willie Coleman. Son of the late Joseph, Sr., and Leona Bibbins Pete. Grandson of the late Jessie D. Bibbins, Sr., Julia Bibbins-Milton, Samuel, Sr., and Josephine Moliere Pete. Brother of Kevin Wayne (Lona) Pete, and Lisa Pete (Kermit) Joseph, also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
