Joyce Echols Obituary

ECHOLS Joyce M. Green Echols, 92, Native of Little Rock, AK and long time resident of Hammond and Covington Passed away at Life Path Hospice in Ruskin, FL on Aug. 8, 2007. She was one of Billups Petroleum original employees. She served as a Eucharistic Minister and Volunteer at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Hammond. She is survived by 3 children: R.M. ''Bob'' Echols, Picayune, MS; M.V. ''Jenny'' Bankston, Covington and Delores E. Todd, Ruskin, FL.; Dau. in law, Joyce A. Echols, Metairie; a sister, Lucy Byers, Indio, CA; 13 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents, George and Annie Laura Green, Four sisters and two brothers of Little Rock; Husband, B.W. Echols; Son, E.W. ''Bud'' Echols, Metairie, and Grandson, Bradford W. Bankston, Covington. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1P, Sat. Aug. 18, 2007 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Hammond. In Lieu of Flowers Memorial donations may be made to: Life Path Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Dr., Ruskin, FL 33573 or Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
