Kenneth Allen Sr.

1965 - 2023

On July 22, 2023, at the age of 57, Kenneth Allen Sr. went from Earth to Glory and transition to be with the Lord. Kenneth was born on October 2, 1965. At a young age Kenneth was baptized by Rev. Charles B. Winstow. He attended Booker T. Washington High School and went on to work for Gulf Marine, World Ship, and Fred Myers in Alaska. Kenneth had a passion for music and DJ'ing for many years. He really loved playing spades and dominoes and would always say "I might not be the best but I'm going to beat you." He also loved boiling seafood and watching the New Orleans Saints "WHO DAT". Kenneth was preceded in death by his son Neville Allen, father Alton Allen Jr, brother: Alvin Allen, and sister Miracle Farmer. He is survived by his mother Barbara Corley, brother Alton Allen III, four children: Kenneth Allen Jr., Jasmine Allen, Dante Allen, and Travis Smith. 3 grandkids, former wife Denise Tatney, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Kenneth was paran to Tory Brazley and Donnel Martin. Dedicated friend to Yvonne Lewis, Shavonne Lewis, Shereka Lewis, Eugnie Lewis and Tiffany Smith. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the service at D. W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave on Friday August 4, 2023 Visitation 9:00 am-10:00 am Service at 10:00 am.
