Kenneth Warren Moore

1978 - 2021

Kenneth Warren Moore, affectionately known as K-9 and Short Dog, passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 43. Kenneth was born on August 13, 1978, to the union of the late Joe Sr. and Betty Moore. He attended Marion Abramson Senior High School. He accepted Christ at a very young age at Third Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his son Kinnechi Jason, siblings: Lecia, Joe Jr. (Rhonda), Sandra, Frederick (Sabrina), Anthony, and Jeremy. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. He was preceded in death by both of his parents Joe and Betty Moore and his significant other Kendrell Jason. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Friday, October 15, 2021, for 10:00 a.m. at Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Mentuer Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Wille Breaux of Christian Fellowship Cathedral, officiating. Interment will follow at Holt Cemetery, 527 City Park Ave., New Orleans, LA. 70119.
