Larry Donnell Vaughn

Larry Donnell Vaughn transitioned from his earthly life to eternal life at his residence on Monday, September 27, 2021, at the age of 70. He was a native of Abbeville, MS and resident of Harvey, LA. Larry was educated in Oxford City Schools System, and he served his country in the United Stated Army. He was self-employed with Discount Carpet Cleaning. Beloved husband of Martha Lee-Vaughn Devoted father of Jimmy (Lisa) Rockett, and Gerrie (Teresa) Vaughn; bonus children Dr. Treniece Lee and Brandon Lee. Brother of Lois Vaughn, Ida Mae (Eddie) Southern, Lawrence (Denise) Vaughn, Patricia Vaughn, Steve Vaughn, Tony Vaughn, Curtis Miller, and Diane (John) Hardin. Special great uncle of Tihira and Avane Lee. Godfather of Tyron Hutton also survived a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and countless friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring church are invited to attend the funeral service at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, 62 County Rd 106, Abbeville, Mississippi 38601 on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 2:00p.m. Pastor Jerry Malone, officiating. Visitation will be held at L. Hodges Funeral Home 38-F Highway 334 Oxford, MS on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 3:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. Interment: Springfield Cemetery-Abbeville, MS.
