Linda Margaret Lambert

Linda Margaret Lambert, 68, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, died peacefully Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Ollie Steele Burden Manor, from Parkinson's disease. Born on October 2, 1947 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as the second child of Wallace A. Lambert Sr. and Lillian Duhe Lambert, Linda graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1965, LSU in 1970 and received a Master's of Public Health in 1978 from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. As an explorer in life and spirituality, Linda was an avid reader who traveled often and advocated for education. She has resided in San Francisco, CA, Chapel Hill, NC, Flagstaff, AZ, New Orleans, LA, Metairie, LA and Baton Rouge, LA, and retired from Tulane University Hospital and Clinic in 2008. Linda is survived by her siblings, Barbara Carley, Susan Needom (Martin), Wallace Lambert Jr. (Agnes), Tim Lambert (Linda), Daniel Lambert (Terri), Anna Swim (Jamie), and Mary Nell Lambert as well as 16 nieces and nephews, and 22 great nieces and nephews. Thank you to numerous friends and family who dearly loved Linda and who brought joy and shared in the adventures of her life. I have arrived. I am home. In the here, in the now.
