Lloyd Edwin Eagan, at his residence, on Sunday, May 15, 2005. Beloved husband of Glen Derbes Eagan. Father of Duane Eagan Couch, Jean Eagan Perrilliat, Lloyd E. Eagan, Jr., Mina Eagan Meric and Charles J. Eagan. Grandfather of Jennifer Couch Talbot, Harvey Matthew Couch, Stephen Francis Couch, Robert Randall Couch, Gwendolyn Derbes Perrilliat, William Claiborne Perrilliat, III, Jean Paul Perrilliat, Tita Eagan, Katherine Eagan May, Margaret Reiss Eagan, Amelie Elizabeth Eagan, Lee Reiss Eagan, Anne Hartley Meric, Thomas Sellers Meric, III, Charles Joseph Eagan, III, Lloyd Edwin Eagan, II and Maura Jeanne Eagan. Great-grandfather of Emery Eagan Talbot and Kearny Quinn Talbot. He was the son of the late Charles Joseph Eagan, Sr. and Agatha Leitz Eagan. He was the brother of the late Ewell Elton Eagan, Charles Joseph Eagan, Jr., Fred Leitz Eagan, Sr. and Maurice Francis Eagan, Sr. Also survived by Gladys Johnson Givens and 15 nieces and nephews. A life long resident of New Orleans, LA. Mr. Eagan was a graduate of Tulane University College of Commerce and Business Administration. He was a member of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre and the Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 12:00 noon from the Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6367 St. Charles Avenue. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation also from Holy Name on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Angels School, 10450 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport, LA 71106, in honor of his granddaughter, Tita Eagan, are preferred.
