Merlin Clark (Moose) September 18, 1951-February 18, 2022. Our loving brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend departed peacefully. We will always love him and we will always miss him. He was born from the union of his father Clarence Clark and his mother Elizabeth Washington Clark. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Clark, his mother Elizabeth Washington Clark, his brother Aaron Clark, Sr. His loving Grandparents Joseph L. Washington, Sr. and Emma Green Washington. He was preceded in death by his Aunt's Catherine Washington Green and Irma Washington, his Uncle's Morvon Washington, Sr. and Joseph L. Washington, Jr. He is survived by his sister Jeannette Clark Grant, his devoted nephew Jermond Marcus Grant, his devoted niece Sheila Clark. He is survived by his devoted Aunt's Frankie D. Washington Smith, Peggy Washington Ebanks and Viola Connelly. He is survived by a host of great nieces and nephews, 80 cousins and counting, his devoted cousins Yolanda Dancy, Gaynell D. Thomas, Wondell N. Smith, Rodney A. Smith and Wendy Smith DeGruy. His devoted friend Lynell Rovaris. Merlin attended George Washington Carver high school in New Orleans, Louisiana. Merlin was a hard and dedicated worker, he enjoyed good food, a cold coca cola and family. The family would like to cordially invite employees of LSU medical Center of New Orleans, formerly Charity Hospital of New Orleans, New Orleans Fire Department, New Orleans police department, Boh Brothers construction company, and Tulane Hospital of New Orleans to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 10:00am at Majestic Mortuary 1833 Oretha C. Haley Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9:00am. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Due to Covid-19, everyone attending is required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing.
