Miriam:
Our deepest sympathy on Jay's passing. The obituary was spot on. Jay was a brilliant chemical engineer. He had the ability to think in such complex terms that we sometimes had to work hard to keep up with his conclusions. But, even when we disagreed, he always seemed to be correct. You could trust his conclusions and you could trust him as a friend.
Our lives are richer for having known him.

Mr. Jay was a wonderful man and a role model for the Knights of Columbus. I can still vividly remember him in his red blazer ushering at Mass at OLPH. May God bless this family at this difficult time.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
