Paul Lemoine Obituary

Paul A. Lemoine, age 61, sadly and unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Paul was born June 3, 1959 in Lake Charles, La. He was a longtime resident of Metairie, La. although he spent many of his younger years growing up and traveling all over the U.S. and world while his father was in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his brother Glenn Lemoine, his nieces, Rachel Lemoine Downie (James), Rebecca Lemoine Miller (Sean), great niece Sadie Downie, and many relatives including cousins, aunts, and uncles in the U.S. and England. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Sheila Lemoine also of Metairie. Paul was taken from us far too soon and will be sadly missed by all of his many friends and family. His love of the outdoors and enjoying life is the way he would want his family and friends to fondly remember him. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Please note that due to the current State restrictions visitation is limited to a total of 150 people and a face cover must be worn. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Garden of Memories Cemetery. To offer condolences or send flowers please visit www.gardenofmemoriesmetairie.com.

He made me laugh even in tough situations. He was my friend. He is remembered fondly and appreciated for that soft spot, which was his huge heart. He is loved and will be missed.

Paul always knew how to make me laugh. In over 35 years of friendship, I never knew what his unique sense of humor would bring, but I knew it would make me smile. My life is better because of the friendship and love Paul gave to me and my girls. Until we are laughing together again, his friendship will be missed. Ann
