Pearlie (Grammy) Cooper Modica, departed her earthy home and stepped into paradise on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the age of 83; Beloved wife of the late George Willie Modica; Daughter of the late William and Amanda Cooper; Beloved mother of Norris (Jerry Sr.) Warner, Georgia Pearl Modica and Hellene (Ferdinand) Piper, Step mother of Walter Modica, Ora Dabney and Frances Sylvester; Loving adopted mother to Brian, Andy and Jonathan Katz; Sister of Betty (Tommie) Roberson and the late Eddie Cooper; Grandmother of Jerry (Markell), Jeremy and Jarroid Warner and Arthur Charlie Piper, Jr.; Great Grandmother of Kerbert and Kerbreil Vaughn, Amaya Warner, Jada Jenkins and Jailyn Warner; Also survived by two loyal friends; Irene Nions and Jessie Pack and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
